Criterion Associates, LLC provides economic and financial analysis, as well as expert witness services for litigation.

The founder, chief economist and Managing Director of Criterion Associates, LLC is David F. Spigelman, MA, PhD.  Dr. Spigelman has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana (1981) where he graduated magna cum laude and with distinction in economics.  He also has MA (’84) and PhD (’86) degrees in economics from Stanford University, where he was a Stanford Fellow.

Dr. Spigelman has a broad background in business, finance, education and government including experience as an economist with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, DC, as an emerging markets bond, currency and derivatives trader with First Chicago Corporation in New York, and as an investment strategist and financial advisor.  Dr. Spigelman is presently a lecturer in economics and international studies at the University of Miami, in addition to his activities with Criterion Associates, LLC.

Criterion Associates also owns and controls copyrights for several economics and educational texts/books and provides educational consulting services.
